Stock Screener Guide
العربيةLearn to combine trading style, sector, price, score, volume, volatility, compliance, and saved filters.
Reviewing every stock individually takes time. The screener narrows the list using your trading style, sector, price, liquidity, and other filters. A matching stock is a candidate to investigate, not a trade recommendation. Compare its chart, news, and current trading conditions next.

What the page shows
| Field or control | How to use it |
|---|---|
| Trading style | Choose an available Day, Swing, or Options tab. Access depends on your plan, and scores across styles are not necessarily comparable. |
| Sector and price | Select sectors and optional minimum or maximum prices to narrow the list. |
| Minimum score | Keeps candidates meeting the selected style's score floor. The score is not a win probability. |
| Volume and volatility | The volume presets filter average dollar volume, not share count. Use volatility limits to narrow the degree of price movement. |
| Tracked or new | Uses the system's tracked-stock status, not membership in your personal watchlist. |
| Compliance | Uses the available classification; Unknown and ETF are not automatic compliant results. |
| Search, apply, and reset | Search a symbol, apply the criteria, and inspect the result count. Relax a condition or reset if nothing matches. |
Recommended workflow
- Choose the trading style first.
- Set only criteria relevant to your search.
- Apply and check the summary and count.
- Sort and compare several candidates.
- Open their charts, liquidity, news, and upcoming events.
- Review results again as market conditions change.
How to interpret the result
- Fewer results are not automatically better.
- Different styles use different scores.
- New is a system tracking classification, not a forecast of a new price move.
Common mistakes
- Optimizing filters to historical winners.
- Using price change without checking liquidity and volatility.
- Treating unknown compliance as compliant.
- Forgetting that saved filters can become stale as strategy assumptions change.

Too many results, or none?
Begin with a few filters and add one at a time. Watch its effect on the count. If results disappear, remove the last condition before changing the rest. Use Previous and Next to review more than the first page.
Screener scores: what does each column measure?
The five columns after Score are component scores from 0–100, not raw prices or volumes. The tool combines them with different weights for each style. Most components rank the stock against the other stocks included in the calculation, so a ranking can move even when its underlying value changes little. A higher score means a stronger match to that model's factors, not a higher chance of profit or a Buy signal.
Day style
| Column | How to read it |
|---|---|
| $ Vol | A ranking of average dollar trading volume. The actual dollar amount is in Avg $Vol. |
| Volume | A ranking of average shares traded, not the size of a current trade. |
| Range | A ranking of the average percentage high-to-low range. A high score means a wider range relative to other stocks, not the stock's percentage return. |
| Blocks | A ranking of recorded large-trade counts. It does not identify their Buy or Sell direction. |
| Price | A score for how the price level fits the day-style rules. The actual dollar price is in Close. |
Swing style
| Column | How to read it |
|---|---|
| Confluence | A ranking of the combined count of high-quality signals and unified alerts. They need not be independent or agree on direction. |
| Momentum | A ranking of the twenty-day price change, not that percentage change itself. A stock can rank well by falling less than others without actually rising. |
| Vol Trend | A ranking of relative volume (RVOL): activity compared with usual volume, not net buying or price direction. |
| Volatility | A score favoring a moderate range of thirty-day volatility. Extremely high volatility does not always increase this score. |
| Radar | A ranking of the stock's average radar score, not the number of radars or a recommendation. |
Options style
| Column | How to read it |
|---|---|
| IV Rank | A ranking score derived from IV Rank, not raw IV and not necessarily the IV Rank value shown on another page. |
| Flow | A ranking of Call-buy plus Put-buy premiums from classified trades. It adds both sides rather than subtracting puts from calls; a high score does not establish bullish stock direction. |
| Unusual | A score for activity such as sweeps, blocks and whales, also considering the unusual-contract count from chain data. It is not a displayed trade count or a one-way signal. |
| Earnings | A score for the proximity of the earnings date, not earnings quality or an expected beat. A nearby event deserves attention to risk. |
| Liquidity | A ranking of combined Call and Put volume. It cannot guarantee a narrow spread or an easy fill in a specific contract. |
When some options data is unavailable, the model uses stock-data fallbacks: stock volatility for IV, average stock dollar volume for Flow, and market capitalization for Liquidity. No unusual activity gives the Unusual component zero. Open the options chain to check the actual contract; the score alone does not establish complete options-data coverage.
Example: separate scores from values
A fictional row could show Volume 80, Price 100, Avg $Vol $50M and Close $40. The first two are scores; the last two are dollar trading value and dollar price. It does not mean eighty shares traded or a $100 stock price. Compare stocks within the same style, then inspect the chart and actual data before deciding what to do.
Page components explained
Build a shortlist
Start with sector and price range, then add volume, score or compliance criteria. Apply the filters and inspect the count. If it is too restrictive, remove one condition at a time.
Compare matching stocks
Use the columns to compare stocks on the same basis, then open a stock for its chart and details. A high score or matching filter is a reason to investigate, not a complete trade decision.
Language
Use the flag to switch the interface language. Check the currency shown on subscription and payment pages after changing language; trading symbols keep their original spelling.
Light and dark mode
Choose the appearance that makes text and chart details comfortable to read. Changing the theme affects the display, not the underlying data or signals.
Page layout
Use this control to change the available page layout. It changes how much space the interface uses, not the meaning of the displayed values.
Fullscreen
In the signed-in app, expand the site to gain more room for charts and tables. Use the control again or Escape to leave browser fullscreen.
