MACD Divergence Radar Guide

العربية

Understand how the radar compares price swings with MACD momentum and how to review its divergence signals.

What the MACD Divergence Radar does

Price can make a new high while the strength behind the move fades. This radar compares price swings with MACD swings to help you find stocks that deserve a closer momentum review. Divergence highlights a difference; it does not tell you that a reversal has started or when it will happen.

Read price and momentum together.

A signal matters only when the compared highs or lows are visible on the stated timeframe. Open the chart and verify the actual swing points instead of relying on the row label alone.

Signal states and concepts

BULLISH

Bullish divergence

Price forms a lower low while MACD momentum forms a higher low. Selling pressure may be weakening, but price can continue lower before responding.

BEARISH

Bearish divergence

Price forms a higher high while MACD momentum forms a lower high. Buying pressure may be weakening, but an established trend can continue.

FORSAH_ZONE

Opportunity-zone confirmation

The configured observation combines divergence with price relative to the Bollinger middle band and RSI relative to 50. It is additional context, not a separate promise of reliability.

TIMEFRAME

Timeframe context

The same symbol can show different structures on different intervals. A daily divergence and an intraday divergence do not describe the same decision horizon.

How to read the main fields

FieldWhat it describesWhat to verify
Signal typeThe divergence or confirmation pattern detected.Match the label to the visible highs or lows on the chart.
DirectionWhether the scanner found bullish or bearish divergence.Confirm direction from price structure; do not infer it from colour alone.
TimeframeThe candle interval used by the scanner.Review the chart on that exact interval before comparing another timeframe.
Signal time and ageWhen the qualifying bar was recorded and how old the observation is.Check whether price has already moved far from the original structure.
Quality or contextA summary of configured checks around the pattern.Inspect the underlying inputs; a higher label is not a probability of profit.

A disciplined review workflow

  1. Open the chart from the symbol and select the timeframe shown in the row.
  2. Mark the two price swings and the corresponding MACD swings; reject the observation if they do not align in time.
  3. Check the broader trend, nearby support or resistance, volume behaviour, and scheduled company or market events.
  4. Compare signal age and current price with the original swing so you do not treat a historical observation as new.
  5. Define invalidation and acceptable risk independently; the radar does not create an entry, stop, or position size for you.

What strengthens or weakens the observation

Useful supporting context

  • Clear, well-separated swing points rather than minor candle noise.
  • A reaction near an independently identified support or resistance area.
  • Price and momentum confirmation that occurs after the divergence, not merely the divergence label.
  • Liquidity sufficient for the intended trade size and timeframe.

Reasons to slow down

  • A strong trend where divergence has appeared repeatedly without a structural break.
  • Very old signals or price already far from the compared swing.
  • Conflicting timeframes without a clear reason for choosing one horizon.
  • A single exceptional candle or corporate event distorting the indicator.

Limitations and false signals

  • MACD is derived from past prices and can lag during fast moves.
  • Swing detection can change as new candles arrive, especially near the end of the chart.
  • Divergence can persist for several swings and does not time a reversal.
  • Indicator settings and timeframe selection materially change the pattern.
Risk reminder

Use the radar to find charts for further analysis. It is not a recommendation to buy or sell, and no divergence type guarantees direction, timing, or profit.

Reading the grade

Completed describes a completed three-point pattern; Strong and Medium describe different qualifying divergence checks. FORSAH_ZONE adds the stated Bollinger-middle and RSI conditions. Read the pattern and its current price context instead of converting these labels into a reliability percentage.

Page components explained

Narrow the signals

Filter by stock, period, price or the available signal criteria. Start broad and add conditions gradually. The timeframe belongs to the signal, while the date range controls when signals appeared.

Period, timeframe and direction

Use the period to choose recent or older signals, the timeframe to choose the candle scale, and direction to separate bullish and bearish readings. These settings answer different questions.

Read the signal list

Start with symbol, signal time and timeframe, then read direction and the radar-specific details. Open a signal to inspect it on the chart. Scores are ranking aids, not measured win probabilities.

Saved signals and watchlists

Favorites retain specific signals for review. A watchlist tracks stocks and can include many signals for each one. Check which control you are using before narrowing the list.

Supporting context

These switches keep signals with the selected news, block-volume, compliance or options context. Presence of extra information is not proof that the signal is stronger or that all sources agree.

Inspect a signal

Compare the signal marker with the price at that time and the moves that followed. Confirm the timeframe and timestamp. A historical chart shows what happened; it does not guarantee the next signal will behave the same way.

Automatic refresh

Refresh checks for new readings. It does not make an old source current. Check the reading's timestamp and any warning before using it.

Language

Use the flag to switch the interface language. Check the currency shown on subscription and payment pages after changing language; trading symbols keep their original spelling.

Light and dark mode

Choose the appearance that makes text and chart details comfortable to read. Changing the theme affects the display, not the underlying data or signals.

Page layout

Use this control to change the available page layout. It changes how much space the interface uses, not the meaning of the displayed values.

Fullscreen

In the signed-in app, expand the site to gain more room for charts and tables. Use the control again or Escape to leave browser fullscreen.
